About Jennice Batista, CPNP
Jennice Batista, CPNP, is a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner at Newton Pediatrics. She has a passion for utilizing her Spanish speaking abilities to deliver pediatric care to underserved populations.
She provides high quality care to all ages between newborn and adolescence. Her prior nursing experience includes a vast background in lactation support, sleep training, feeding transitions, developmental milestones, and early intervention.
She completed her bachelor’s degree at MCPHS university in medical and molecular biology and then moved on to getting her bachelor’s and master’s in nursing from the MGH Institute of health professions.
She is a lifelong learner and to aide in the behavioral and mental health shortage, she is also in the process of becoming a board certified pediatric primary care mental health specialist. She hopes to be a bridge and provide higher access to developmental, behavioral, and mental health care to patients within a primary care setting.
While she is not at work, she enjoys spending quality time and traveling the world with her husband and daughter.
